The common ground for professional mariners is the

challenge of moving at speed across the sea in waves.

A shared objective is reducing the risk of injury.

After a fast transit people need to be able to perform tasks.

Maritime pilots and wind farm technicians climb ladders.

SAR carry out rescues. Military undertake boarding.

The next generation of manned and unmanned vessel

operators will need new approaches to 'speed in waves'

for protecting both people and sensitive equipment.
